Description: Sarracenia leucophylla ‘Ben Stein’s Monster’ is the new creation of the mad scientists at flytrapking. It is an outstanding selection of the white top pitcher plant; one of the largest North American carnivorous plants. S. ‘Ben Stein’s Monster’ can attain a height of three feet with its creamy white late fall pitchers. This clone is not yet registered and is in very limited supply.
Culture: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. In a bog garden, use a mixture of peat moss and sand. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
