Catesby’s pitcher plant is the natural hybrid of the trumpet pitcher and purple pitcher.  Its beautifully flared mouth is reminiscent of the purple pitcher’s rainwater catching leaves, yet it exhibits an upright growth habit and a rich “trumpet pitcher yellow” in the new leaves.
