Threadleaf

Sundew of all kinds are found throughout the world, but the Southeast United State’s own threadleaf sundew is in class of its own.  It is the only temperate sundew that produces long fly-paper thread leaves!

This selection is a vigorously clumping form of the Southern threadleaf sundew.  It grows lime-green leaves to 1 foot tall and produces an abundance of delicate pink flowers in the spring.  An excellent choice for a dish garden or bog garden, it provides visual texture with a dense net of gnat-catching leaves.  Treat as an annual or mulch in colder climates.
